Any tips on Catching Snook in South Florida Canals?

I have caught a lot of peacock bass, LM bass…SEEN a lot of Tarpon (Not trying to catch any) but have yet to land a Snook…AND I WANT TOO! I am in Miami Dade County, near the Snake Creek Canal, but I catch most of my fish at the pond in our complex..A nice clear lake that gets virtually NO pressure…(6 pound peacock last week)..It is a secret spot I guess, Peacocks everywhere, a kid could catch ‘em all day…Anyway, I wanna get some Snook!

Out of the water comes this awesome snook, about 24 inches long, jumping almost 4 feet into the air. I net it, and just stare, speechless…. The next day, I go to walmart, and return with 5 of these. At walmart they cost 3-4 buck, and are worth way more. Do not buy them from this. Go to the Walmart near pro player stadium in Miramar, and look for the rapala GSR-5. I have caught everthing in those canals with this. BUY THIS LURE, and make sure you got 3 or 4 for when you let someone borrow one, or if a fish takes it.
